Ae dhoop ke rang chal mere sang
kali si uss raat mein hi kho gaya tha
jaane kaun se railgdi par sawar ho gaya tha
jaagte jaagte so gaya tha
Ae dhoop ke rang chal mere sang
mar mar kay jeene ki jang mein shamil ho gaya tha
jaane kiska haath pakde chalne laga tha
naasha nichod te nichod te kho gaya tha
Ae dhoop ke rang chal mere sang
dil ka raasta baadal gaya tha
jaane kiss chahat mein har shay kho batha tha
roote roote zindagi ka har khel bhool gaya tha
Ae dhoop ke rang chal mere sang,
Ae dhoop ke rang chal mere sang....

A fish in the bowl
Jack is running, Jill is running after her and James is galloping to catch them..
And the world is running after them...
Their brains are running, their legs are running their tounges are running...
A fish sits in the water bowl wondering what are they running after
Swimming her way through alone, creating waves in the water...
In her bowl world, she swims through the low and high tides of the world
She is swimming calmly , not following, not running...
Doing what she loves ...
Sitting with the pen in my hand, I wish I was the fish in the bowl...
Sitting with the pen in my hand, I wish I was the fish in the bowl...

row of crasynthmums
His dog came running and his tongue jumped into the pool of water,
I stood beside the array of crasynthmums wating for the door to open,
He walked out into the balcony and hugged his dog.
I stood admiring his bare body with sweat dripping from his chest,
I turned into a honey bee and flew to sit on his shoulder,
I swirled around him, high on his aroma.
Sat beside him till the dusk, on his hand, in his hair, on his lips
emerging in his fluids,
I flew inside his bedroom and sat on his bed
A long strand of hair lay on the lipstick kissed pillow,
He came inside the bedroom and saw me sitting on his pillow
He rolled a newspaper to kill me,
he ran after me and I flew away from him
out of his door and away from the row of crasynthmums.
I stood beside the array of crasynthmums wating for the door to open,
He walked out into the balcony and hugged his dog.

The red crown
Toby stood by the fence
Looking at the kites fighting with the wind.
His eyes stuck, on the white kite with a red crown,
He wanted it to win, to rise higher and higher.
A white hen with red crown came out with her chicks on the ground,
Chicks played bouyantly with her on the other side of the fence
His concentration shifted to thier blissful play
Six yellow figures encircled the hen,
Dancing and singing engulfed the air
chicks went and hugged their mom.
languidly they took steps towards their home.
Toby started walking towards his home with a smile on his face,
a woman with a basket and knife crossed his path.
Hunger striked his stomach,
He rushed to his mother and asked for dinner
she said a delicous hen with a red crown,
He saw his favorite kite flying down from the sky.

an earthworm
The morning starch stiffened my body
Methane air swirled into my nose
Strands of hair dripping the pungent sweat,
curled around my neck.
I lay like a cocoon
I duck out my head
with my eyelashes touching my brows,
an earthworm crawls on the windowpane
trying to reach the soil
A gush of air astrays his direction
He coils his body, into a invisible speck
Methane air swirled into my nose
Strands of hair dripping the pungent sweat,
curled around my neck.
I lay like a cocoon
I duck out my head
with my eyelashes touching my brows,
an earthworm crawls on the windowpane
